Service pages are for what we do. They are not a good place for the rest of it - the things that catch your eye, the patterns that keep repeating, and the opinions you only trust after you have seen them play out a few times.
This is that place.
I have spent twenty years working for agencies, in agencies, and with agencies. The useful material often never makes it onto a capabilities page. A hiring pattern that keeps going wrong. An SME site that is doing the job while a bigger brand's site is not. A tool that actually helps. A client problem that looks like design and turns out to be resourcing.
I will write about:
- What has caught my eye - products, posts, launches, and the odd thing worth sitting with
- Industry observations - how the work actually gets done, and where it gets stuck
- AI - where it is useful, where it is noise, and where it creates new problems
- Employment, teams, and how work is being put together
- Local SMEs and businesses that do not have a marketing department
- Agency life, from the inside and from alongside the team
- Tools, AI or not, that are popular, new, or quietly doing the job
Some notes will be short. Some will be longer. None of them are here to fill a publishing calendar.
If you want the services behind the notes, they are on the services page. If a specific problem is sitting with you, get in touch.
