Who you work with

4D Services is a one-person consultancy, so the person on the call is the person doing the work. I have built the sites, written the tenders, run the discoveries and managed the retainers, so I know where digital work tends to get stuck.

Based in Clevedon, North Somerset, working across Bristol and the UK, mostly remotely and in person when it helps.

About me

Who I work with

Agencies and small businesses

The work is similar. The context is not. Pick the one that sounds like you.

Agencies

I spent twenty years in the culture and the processes. I improve how work moves, handle client communication inside the agency and with clients, and cover marketing, social, design, UX and UI, and build.

The problems

What is getting in your way

  • 01

Your site is slow, hard to update, or no longer says what you do

  • 02

Search is flat, and the audit reports are not getting done

  • 03

You are not sure how you show up in Google, AI answers, social and reviews

  • 04

Work depends on one person, or the team you have is already at capacity

Not sure where to start?

Send me your URL

Email the site and a sentence on what is not working. I will reply with what I would look at first. No pitch, no obligation.

How I work

Practical progress, not long planning cycles

I work alongside the team you already have. When capacity is tight, I add an extra pair of senior hands. I share knowledge as I go, and I fit around how your studio already runs rather than asking you to change everything.

I focus on useful progress early, make sure you understand what has been delivered, and hand over properly when the work is done.

1

Understand the problem

I start with what is actually causing difficulty - whether that is the site, search, a process, or a prototype. We agree the priority before any work begins.

2

Work in the open

You see wireframes, working pages and progress as I go. I prefer practical output over long documents that never get used.

3

Hand over properly

I leave you with documentation, training if needed, and a clear picture of how to keep things running after I step back.

4

Stay on if useful

Some clients want ongoing support for updates, audits or delivery. Others prefer a clean finish. We agree what suits the work.
